The StoryBowl project brings to mind something very fundamental and provocative that I think of a great deal. Unless we are able to provide
means for people to experience the penetrating reality of interdependence then data surprises and shocks, but does not move us to share in the
most profound way. It is the knowing at our essence that we are connected to one another that can stimulate us to find ways to promote sharing
and less greed beyond offering food and money as our only solution. .. in order to generate a long term solution we need to offer the seeds of help
to empower people, villages, communities to grow food and distribute fairly. This comes from feeding the hungry heart that
believes it is seperate and unrelated or untouched by this increasing horror of literal hunger.

the story bowl project can raise funds. But it can also uncover experience and awareness that renders us one world again regardless
of storylines of religion, culture, gender. This is the alchemy of storytelling.
